Kansas and the Politics

Kansas has been in the news a lot lately regarding Citizens United, and the recent decision to allow the Democratic candidate to drop out, giving a greater chance to the Independent candidate.
Sam Brownback (AKA Koch Brother’s meat puppet) has been disastrous for Kansas. Education has become practically inaccessible, even for children. Income equality is at an all-time high. Today, I watched “Inequality for All”, which I highly recommend. Sadly, I was not shocked to learn that the status quo is comparable to Depression era Inequality. Make no mistake about it, we are in a depression. The stats speak for themselves.
I am proud to be a Kansan, and consider myself a patriot. I encourage everyone to get out and vote during this pivotal moment in history. I support Paul Davis and Greg Orman in this election. Here’s to hope than we educate ourselves, and work together to turn things around!
